Code of Conduct

At LevelNext, we take deliberate action to be inclusive to the largest number of mentors and mentees, with the most varied and diverse backgrounds possible. In order to deliver an inviting, safe and friendly environment for all, regardless of gender, sexual orientation, ability, ethnicity, socioeconomic status, and religion (or lack thereof), we’ve created this code of conduct to articulate our community expectations, as well as outline the consequences for unacceptable behavior.

Expected Behavior

The following behaviors are expected of all mentors, mentees, vendors and employees of LevelNext:

  • Do not use demeaning, discriminatory, or harassing behavior or speech.

  • Be mindful of your surroundings and your fellow humans. Notify us if you witness or experience a dangerous situation, someone in distress, or violations of this Code of Conduct, even if they seem inconsequential.

  • Enter conversations with respect for the other party(ies) and foster an environment of support and encouragement.

Unacceptable Behavior

The following behaviors are considered harassment and/or disrepectful, and are unacceptable within our community:

  • Violence, threats of violence or violent language directed against another person.

  • Sexist, racist, homophobic, transphobic, xenophobic, ableist or otherwise discriminatory jokes and language.

  • Posting or displaying sexually explicit or violent material.

  • Posting or threatening to post other people’s personally identifying information.

  • Personal insults, particularly those related to gender, sexual orientation, race, religion, or disability.

  • Inappropriate photography or recording.

  • Unwelcome sexual attention. This includes, sexualized comments or jokes; inappropriate touching, groping, and unwelcomed sexual advances.

  • Deliberate intimidation, stalking or following (online or in person).

  • Advocating for, or encouraging, any of the above behavior.

  • Sustained disruption of community events, including talks and presentations.

  • Canceling multiple sessions (3 or more in a 6 month period) after booking, with or without proper notice.

  • Requesting or issuing multiple refunds (3 or more in a 6 month period) outside of standard refund/cancellation processes and policies.

  • Lack of communication, information or “no-shows” prior to and during scheduled sessions.

  • Encouraging or engaging in relationships, conversations or communications outside LevelNext that would be considered a conflict of interest to the services provided through the platform.

To maintain a safe and inclusive environment for all, consequences will be enforced for failure to comply with the code of conduct as described in this document. For minor infractions or unintended miscommunications, you may be temporarily suspended from the platform. In the case of repeat offenses, or if it is determined you are not acting in good faith, you may be permanently removed from the community without notice or compensation.

If you are subject to or witness unacceptable behavior, or have any other concerns, please notify us as soon as possible via email at and include, “Code of Conduct” in the subject line.

If you feel you have been falsely or unfairly accused of violating this Code of Conduct, you may notify with a concise description of your grievance.
